Reflexology
Finding time to smell the roses, to watch the clouds drifting by, to breathe deeply and relax is something most of us forget to do. Allow yourself an hour with me to relax unwind and enjoy a treat, not just for your feet, but for your body and mind as you enjoy the ancient art of reflexology. A treatment which helps the body reach homeostasis - balances the bodies internal regulation - and promotes well being.
Treatments last approximately 50 minutes in your one hour session. The first session will be longer to take your details and a medical history so allow yourself an extra 15 - 20 minutes.
You remain fully clothed for your treatment, just removing shoes and socks. You will lie back in a reclining chair. I will gently cleanse your feet with wipes before applying powder, oil or cream to ensure my hands glide smoothly and easily across your feet. I will perform a relaxing opening sequence of massaging and stretching movements before applying a tailored 'thumb walking' sequence over your feet, working all organs of the body, stimulating blood flow and lymph flow and promoting relaxation. Finishing up with a closing sequence tailored to your requirements for a ralaxing, balancing or stimulating treatment.

Those with fertility problems will already know about stress! Reflexology is a great, gentle stress relief technique.
Working before conception to prepare the body, balancing hormnones and boosting energy levels.
Regular treatments may ease common ailments associated with pregnancy such as backache, digestive irregularities, nausea, sleep difficulties, oedema
Working safely, alongside your midwife and GP, with those wishing to conceive naturally or via IVF, during pregnancy and up to birth, including a special priming for labour technique.

£35.00 per 45 minute treatment. Your initial consultation takes a little longer to enable me to take a full medical history. For your first appointment, allow an extra 10 minutes at no extra charge.
